PHP Web Developer

Overview:
Michigan Health Council (MHC) is seeking a Web Developer to join our growing Information Technology team. This role is responsible for working with Web Development Manager to create cross-platform web applications through the use of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and other web technologies, as well as support these applications.
Below is a general outline of the key responsibilities and qualifications associated with a PHP Web Developer position:

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and integrate complex web applications
-
Provides post implementation support
-
Modify and enhance existing PHP and JavaScript coded pages and content
-
Evaluate deliverables and implement solutions in a timely manner
-
Work with version control software and deploy jobs to environments
-
Perform other projects or duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields or equivalent experience
-
2 to 4 years of experience working with HTML, CSS, and other front end technologies
-
2 to 4 years of experience working with dynamic web technologies (such as PHP & JavaScript)

Knowledge of version control systems
-
Knowledge of usability principles
-
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Excellent understanding and knowledge of HTML, and CSS
-
Excellent understanding and knowledge of Dynamic Web Technologies (PHP, Composer, GIT)

Excellent understanding and knowledge of JavaScript (and libraries, such as jQuery)
-
Excellent analytical ability
-
Is curious about technology and willing to learn

Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
