Dr. Hamman focused on his research from aviation and how it applies to healthcare by building team communications leading to improved patient safety and quality and ultimately to workforce satisfaction and retention. Dr. Hamman is both a pilot and a physician and a leader in improving aviation safety, through work in risk analysis, and team training and assessment methods.
